Matt and Galena had met previously during Sarah’s extended stay in Texas. The couple is right for each other and Galena’s little girl, Mandy, wants a father as much as she wants her mommy to be happy and wear a diamond ring.Matt is a pastor of a very exclusive church with ideas of how they want their congregation to remain as it is and not bring in those who may have a tainted past. Galena doesn’t know who Mandy’s father is. While she’s asked for forgiveness, Galena doesn’t feel she’s worthy to be a pastor’s wife.
Matt isn’t so sure he can continue his employment with a church that remains rigid in their ideals of the perfect congregation. The board wanted Matt to marry a socialite and isn’t happy with his idea of pursuing a relationship with Galena.
Sarah shines in this adventure. She can still bring up a clap of thunderous reprimand from the Heavenlies, but overall she’s doing much better here on earth and still loving her burgers and five inch heels which endears her to our hearts.
Gay N. Lewis never fails to please. Once again we’ve been given a delightful Sarah story. Thank you, Ms. Lewis, for the laughter and warmth.

I love how witty she is, how the story on folds and how creative she can be,is a very fun book to read.
Sarah and a Dad for Mandy is a great read as have been all in the Sarah series. It combines laughable moments, heart warming moments as well as Christian insights. Ms Lewis has a gift for describing the antics of the little dyslexic angel. With all her bloopers, she manages to get her assignments done. Who could not love Sarah!
I love reading feel good books. Poor Sarah, the angel, she has such challenges dealing with earth and it's rules. This is a good read
It was a pleasure to read Gay N. Lewis' new book. As always in the author's books, there were unexpected twists and turns in the plot, with extremely funny incidents, but a refreshing reminder of God's love, direction, and protection in our lives.
This was my first time to read one of the "Sarah" books from author Gay N. Lewis.. What fun! Sarah is an angel with a good heart but often befuddled by humans and their world. "A Dad for Mandy" was an enjoyable read about a young minister and his struggle to let go of what he thought he wanted in order to follow God's plan for his life. You're sure to enjoy this lighthearted story of true love.
Poopty doopty Sarah the Angel is assigned to bring together single mom, Galena and the single pastor Matt. After meeting Galena at the hospital while her daughter, Mandy, is having surgery, Matt is attracted to the young mom, but does nothing about it. Enter Sarah,
she has to figure out how to bring the two together. After a series of "blunders" occurs, Sarah finally completes her mission. Only bringing Galena and Matt together causes the young minister to make an important decision about his pastoral position.
This is my favorite of the Sarah books. I hope the Sarah series continues on. The writing and story lines are great. I read in one afternoon.
“Sarah and a Dad for Mandy” is a love story told through the eyes of a quirky, match-making angel. I’ve loved every “Sarah” book I’ve read, but this one has to be my favorite. Matt and Galena are so loveable, and who could possibly resist dear little Mandy? The story is romantic, poignant, funny, sweet—everything I expected and more. The more? That’s a gentle morality lesson that runs alongside the main plot. Galena humbly owns up to poor decisions made in the past, while holier-than-thou hypocrites (my word, not from the book) in Matt’s church look down their gossipy noses at the single mom. This is a book one can enjoy as light, entertaining romance. Or, the reader can dig deeper into the social, moral, and theological content. Either way, it’s a great read!
